Final Fantasy: Journey's End « Result #3 on Oct 30, 2009, 9:14pm »
Am I the light in the darkness? The unsung hero? A warrior, with a heart of gold? Or a thief with an eye for it? Do I do good deeds because I must? Or is it just orders?
Am I the villain who kills for no reason? The antihero, the misunderstood warrior who gets the job done, morals or no? The puppet master, who plays others like they were chess pieces? A killer of men, a silencer of secrets. An assassin who creeps in the dark?
Which are you?
“ And at the end of the world, everything was quiet. I find that strange. Perhaps that in itself is strange. Maybe I thought finally when it was all over we’d have a little breath to ourselves and get on with our lives. But the truth was, when we defeated all the enemies. When we had finally cast down every power hungry monster…what we were left with wasn’t a utopia….we were left with the wasteland. At first we thought things would get better, the wasteland was limited to the Lost continent. But, eventually things began to die in other places, more and more lands were consumed by the desert of the wasteland. Lakes, rivers, even the ocean began to dry up eventually. Civilisations began to die out. That’s when we all began to travel, the usual tales of a land of wonder and plenty that hadn’t been effected by what we were now calling the Solomon Blight. But from land to land, we found nothing. “
“ As time passed our band grew smaller and smaller. People just…gave up. It was only Tzigone and the other remaining members of the old Gaian union that managed to keep the loyal ones together. That’s when he led us back. Back to where this blight had all begun. Back to the Lost continent. There we poured over the old Brotherhood ruins, searching for anything that could help us fight against the Blight. For awhile we lost Tzigone. Days went before we saw him again. And when he returned, he took us all to the place we thought had been buried by the sands. The final Gateway. Gateway 26. The unopened number. That’s when a child stepped forward and said to Tzigone. “ Whats behind the door?”. And that’s when the silence returned. That was the most terrifying moment of my life. “.
Final Fantasy: Journey’s End. Is the end of the road for those who fought through the world of ruin. To others. Its simply a beginning. The world of Journey’s End takes place in “ World 26”. Behind the twenty sixth gateway. This world is totally new. Journey’s End is based in a world, were all the Final Fantasy worlds coexist, but as different continents on the same planet. And the confrontations, friendships, and alliances this would form. The current plotline on Journey’s end focuses on Galbadia’s move to get the secret behind mako energy, and the Jenova virus. Spira is still plagued by Sin. Shinra are planning a war that may drag the rest of the world in.
Everything changes here. The continental system means events that shaped the canon storyline of Final Fantasy never happened. Sephiroth and Zack never came to Niblehiem, so Sephiroth is still a soldier. And Zack still lives. Minor changes like this all effect the world as a whole. But what changes will you bring about? And how will they effect the world around us? This is the end of the road. This is Journey’s End.

Re: Bending; Which one is best? « Result #4 on Oct 27, 2009, 11:38pm »
I must say that I agree with Tao Shin in that all of the bending arts are the best, in their own way, and also the worst, again in their own way. This question seems more a question of personal preference than of which one actually triumphs over all others in superiority and power and usefulness in day-to-day life and whatever else.
I, personally, can't choose one over the other. I love all elements equally and think each of them beautiful and deadly in their own ways, being parts of Nature which I love and admire deeply and endlessly, and thus I find all the bending arts to be equal.
Earth grows gorgeous, interesting landscapes and such that are needed to house various animals and it's essential for holding Water in lakes and oceans and, my favorite, streams such as can be found in forests and the like. It's also necessary for Man to make his shelter out of or upon, and these landscapes basically grow the food that Man eats. I have a particular affection for Earth because I and others would say it's most like me in personality and I love forests and mountains rather moreso than other landscapes. Earthbenders are very hard to move once they are firmly grounded, difficult to surprise when, like Toph and Aang, they can see with it, and are a blunt, straightforward, and enduring people, not easily defeated or wiped out.
Water is precious, a definite necessity for living, especially in a harsh environment such as a desert. It's required to grow the things that grow out of the Earth, and to give life, granted to also take life away, but so can all elements in their darker aspects. It can be used to grow plants at home to make the home more aesthetically and peacefully pleasing for the owner, and also used itself for its aesthetic and meditative qualities. Waterbenders are adaptable and agile, able to not only accept change, but to use it to their advantage when they have need of it. They are capable fighters and have capable healers as well among them, but are generally calm and peaceful people except when they or their loved ones are threatened and then they are a force to be reckoned with.
Fire warms the body and cooks the food and light the way in a dark area. It also protects the camp and cauterize a wound when bleeding must be stopped and there is no other way. Depending on your religious beliefs, fire can also release the soul from the body so that it can wait for reincarnation, or just to be released into heaven. I hold a particular affection for Fire as well, because I happen to be a bit of a pyro and adore staring blankly into a fire, great or small and tending it to keep it going at least a while longer. The smell of it is also very pleasant. Firebenders are ambitious and aggressive in the undertaking of the actions needed to achieve their set goals. They are action-oriented and, though often a little too quickly, set to work with admirable enthusiasm.
Air is as vital as Water, needed for living things to breathe and thrive. It lifts evaporated Water high up to form clouds and to sooner or later bring life-giving rain to these things that need it to grow and to live. It brings the much welcomed gentle breeze in summer and the first chill of winter to bones so that animals and Man can begin shedding the summer coat, as it were, and switch to warmer clothes to avoid freezing to death. Airbenders are calm, slow to anger, and the most peaceful of the benders, but equally as deadly when the need arises, they would much prefer to harm than to outright kill their attacker. They would make excellent mediators in a minor or major conflict between other benders and amongst themselves and quite a force to be reckoned with in outright war.
To be forced to choose, I would be torn between Earth and Fire. I'm most comfortable on the ground, lying on grass or moss amidst a grove of trees or resting on a mountainside. I love watching Fire when it's safely controlled, since I don't like seeing anybody burned or the elements in conflict, but mostly because I hate seeing anything burned because of carelessness or lack of mercy and compassion.
Chances are, people would say I'm an Earthbender.
Whew, well, after that long posting... Obey your Thirst!

Name: Jun(Pronounced like the month,June.) Age: Around eighteen
Sex: Female
Is a Bender: No
Nationality: Earth Kingdom
Alliance: None, unless you include her giant Shirshu. I believe. ^^
Appearance: Jun is described as good-looking in a dangerous sort of way. Her straight black hair drops down to her mid-back, and dark brown-grey eyes. Part of her dark-hair is usually up in a headband with a skull adornment, the origin of which is unknown. She stands at 5’6” and has a fit figure.
Personality: Jun is a bounty hunter who travels around the earth kingdom, and has no allegiance to anyone but the highest bidder for her services. She’s got quite good physical strength and possesses a dry, sarcastic wit. This female is self-assured and quite confident for most part. Jun will arm wrestle men in bars on a bet, then use her winnings on a round of drinks. In her profession she must mix with a variety of people from unsavory to low life and everything in between. Her determination, resolve and superior physical strength have enabled her to get the job done in the toughest of assignments. Jun’s character along with her Shirshu’s abilities make her a force to be reckoned with- a non-fragile woman and rarely misunderstood. As slightly mentioned above, Jun is confident and decisive; Although she seems dark and uncaring, she did not ask for payment from Zuko when he said that the world would be destroyed and needed her help, proving that loyalty to her pocket is not the only consideration.
Inventory: A whip to help her get Nyla(Her shirshu) moving, soap, a change of clothing, a few bags to hold her earnings in, and a brush.
Weaknesses: - She occasionally takes jokes to far. - If someone tries saying they’ve done something cool, Jun competes saying something she ‘did’ that was cooler - Doesn’t like working with others History: Jun originated from the Earth Kingdom where she spend her childhood traveling with her father, who was also a bounty hunter. It was from him that she adopted her tracking and fighting skills she currently employs. June received the Shirshu she now owns from her father when she was just a child. A rare animal collector once took the Shirshu when it was an infant and later gave it to June's father as payment for a bounty, who later gave it to her. The two have grown up together for over fourteen years. Roleplay –Sample (Jun as a child) A female figure ran toward the sound of her father’s foot steps coming closer, and becoming louder. “Papa!!!” She shouted, her father meeting her and pulling the five-year-old into a hug. “Jun, dear! I’ve got you something from one of my costumers,” Spoke her father, smiling down at his daughter. “What is it, Pa?! What is it???” Jun jumped, trying to peer over her dad’s shoulder, unsuccessfully. Suddenly, when she turned around, there was a large creature, with a nose with small string-like pieces of skin sticking off of it. “This is a Shirshu, might come in handy once you start working.” “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!” Cried Jun, hugging her father quickly, then rushing over to the creature he’d called a ‘Shirshu’. “She’s so cute!” Jun climbed onto the large rodent-looking thing, feeling it’s soft fur. “I’m going to call her…Nyla!” A pleased smile appeared on her face, identical to her fathers, as Jun fell asleep on her new companion.

Heeeey there, call me Aeorian if ya like. Or don't if you don't. I've never done any honest rping for anything, but I like Avatar well enough and it sounds like fun to get some experience in the rp field.
I can't remember exactly but I first saw Avatar just out of curiosity and I must say I was impressed by what I saw and I've enjoyed each episode that I've seen, since I was never devout and didn't watch on a regular basis.

Welcome to the Dwelling of the Nomadic Guardians, a sanctuary for freedom fantasy role playing. There are no rules to how you can live your life (well, okay, there are some, but barely any). So with angry dragons eating ketchup, rabid unicorns, shout outs!, groovy music, battles, and... er... flying penguins... there are limitless things to do. What pages will be written next for this world? You decide. Be who you want to be. How will you express yourself?

Darkness spawned from the nothingness of Void. From the dark came the formation of the planet in fire and earth, thus creating Evenlla. Water and air was used to aid the life that was to form. In the dark, Evenlla became a place of overpowering evil for many creatures who chose alliance to a harsh and overpowering form of living.
Then light was formed from fire, but the light was too powerful and the balance shifted the opposite way. A world without evil is no world at all. So the light and dark was shifted to day and night so that each element had equal time in Evenlla.
